MINDFULNESS NEUROSCIENCE AYURVEDA
Your self-care practice has never been more important than it is right now. In the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, you are being asked to show up each day with patience, discipline, and sweetness.Your ability to regulate your nervous system and process the stressors in your life is no longer optional, it’s imperative- because nothing depletes your immune system as quickly as stress does. And the chances are, you’ve probably never needed it as strong as you do right now (when going to the grocery store is just about the most dangerous thing you could do). But it’s really hard to do those things when you’ve been cut off from the places and communities where you used to find solace. That’s why I created this virtual retreat experience for you. Welcome to your Virtual Retreat
Next weekend, April 3-6, I was supposed to be leading a retreat to Sequoia National Park, with a group of my favorite students and dearest friends. Postponing that retreat was hard for me, but not nearly as heartbreaking as seeing the effects social isolation and fear has had on the mental health of my community.
So we’re still going on retreat, but to a virtual sanctuary instead. In this space your home will become your temple and your community will pop up on your computer screen in a bunch of teeny tiny, albeit powerful ZOOM boxes.
Each day there will be intimate interaction with the other virtual retreat goers so you can actually get connected to the group and feel the support of a community. Together we’ll learn tools to bolster the immune system that you can start implementing immediately and work through our patterns of anxiety + stress, in general and specific to the current pandemic. Part of this retreat will address your anxiety around the economy and money right now, and learning how to create internal stability in a time that feels so uncertain.

Business Coach, Human Sparkler
Alex is unlike any other yoga and meditation teacher I’ve come across in all of my travels over 12 years taking classes across the world.
The way she mixes science and spirituality to create a synergy of groundedness and enlightenment is one of the reasons I’m so drawn to her teaching. She has the ability to intuitively create a beautiful and intentional experience for her clients based on her deep wisdom and understanding of the practice.
I could sing her praises all day–but you won’t truly understand until you meet her and get to feel her powerful, radiant, truly high vibrational presence yourself. If every person on the planet could just take one class–the world would be forever changed–lighter–more peaceful–more in tune.
